Police have confirmed an operation has concluded at a property on Marmong Street at Booragul, Lake Macquarie.
Five Island School and Booragul Public School went into lockdown at 2:15 this afternoon as a precaution, but all students are safe.
Police say the operation was unrelated to the schools. It was believed to be regarding a man wanted over outstanding warrants.
He’s now in custody.
