A 47-year-old Newcastle man was taken to Tamworth hospital yesterday afternoon after a motorbike accident in Calala.
Just before 3pm, he was heading east along Calala Lane when he swerved to avoid crashing into a stopped car at an intersection.
He was thrown from the bike, sustaining possible broken bones.
