Around 35,000 people attended the 25th annual event, which was created to help the once struggling business district.
“Just a bit of an idea to show the community that the businesses are here to support them and it’s great to get them back on the street as well.”
The Friends of the Regal community group used the opportunity to relaunch a fundraising bid.
Council will decide in November whether to sell the iconic art-house cinema.
“We have to convince them of the fact that we’re serious; that the money’s there or could be on the way.”
