Australia’s first medical cannabis trial for terminally ill adults was announced today by NSW Premier Mike Baird.
The trial is part of the NSW Government’s $9-million commitment to support medical cannabis clinical trials.
Minister for Medical Research, Pru Goward said the first trial will be conducted by a research team led by the University of New South Wales.
