In the Hunter’s NPL competition Edgeworth has moved into equal first after beating the Gunners, while Lambton and Adamstown drew 1-all.
Maitland scored an historic win over the Blues and Hamilton overcame Weston 3-1.

Mitchell Hughes started as a tape editor in Newcastle in 1999. He became a reporter in 2004, working in Lismore and on the Gold Coast.
