A male paramedic was allegedly kicked several times in the ribs, by a woman he was assisting in Newcastle’s Civic Park last night.
At 6pm, ambulance officers were treating the 26-year-old for facial injuries she acquired from an unknown person, when she allegedly turned on the paramedic.
She was arrested by police in Hunter Street a short time later, and has since been issued with a court attendance notice.
