A couple aged in their 80s have died following a head-on collision on the Pacific Highway at Chinderah last night.
Police say their car crossed onto the wrong side of the road, hitting an oncoming 4WD.
“The other person didn’t receive life threatening injuries but did receive significant injuries to her leg, so she’s still in hospital having treatment.”
The cause is still under investigation.
