WEATHER UPDATE: STORM SEASON IS COMING

Over the weekend and during today we have seen storms flare up across the Northern New South Wales Ranges and North East.
Tomorrow a trough is going to pass over and the ingredients look good to see increased storm activity across the broadcast region during the day, stretching from the Greater Hunter to the North West, Tablelands, North East and Gold Coast.
There is plenty of heat and moisture content is moderate. The passing trough is the final ingredient.
Yesterday was also the first time 40 degrees was recorded in Australia for the new season happening in the Kimberley of Western Australia. It is another sign that Spring is here, but be warned. A burst of cold air is headed our way, ready to cool things back down for the second half of the week.
