Australian Air Race ace Matt Hall has ended a disappointing season in style, with a podium finish at the final event of the year in Germany.
Returning after serving a one-race suspension, Hall was never in the hunt for the overall title, but made his mark all the same.
Placing third, it was also Hall’s third career podium.
Englishman Paul Bonhomme secured back-to-back series titles – it now won’t return until 2012.
