The date for this year’s Porchetta Day in Gunnedah has been set for September 19, and the Italian festival’s committee is calling for volunteers.
The event is in its seventh year and attracts thousands of people, lining up to taste a number of traditional dishes.
“Without the volunteers for three days and leading up to the event it doesn’t happen really…so we do rely on our volunteers and any time that people can contribute is appreciated for sure.”
