Guyra and Uralla residents are being urged to attend public meetings on Thursday night, to voice their concerns about proposed council amalgamations.
Both councils were declared ‘unfit’ by the state’s independent regulator.
Councils will use the meetings to gauge public opinion, as both finalise submissions to the state government ahead of next week’s deadline.
The Guyra meeting will get underway at the bowling club at 6pm, while the other will be held at Uralla’s bowling club.
