A man was flown to hospital after being stabbed several times on the far north coast this morning.
The 48-year-old was attacked in the Butler Street reserve at Byron Bay just before midday.
He suffered multiple knife wounds and was airlifted to the Gold Coast University Hospital in a critical condition.
Police have arrested a 45-year-old man – he’s assisting officers with their inquiries.
