Coffs Coast school children were in fine voice today for a massive national music event called the “Big Sing.”
Almost 300 students from five school choirs in the region gathered in Urunga to sing a song simultaneously, with half a million other children across Australia.
More than 2,000 schools took part.
The original composition they all sang was called, “Paint you a Song.”
The program called, Music Count Us In, highlights the importance of music in education and is funded by the federal government.
