A female pedestrian has been hit by a car at Goonellabah this afternoon.
Paramedics were called to the intersection of Regency Crescent and Cambridge Drive shortly after midday.
The woman, in her early eighties, suffered head injuries and was taken to Lismore Base hospital.
Police from the crash investigation unit have been working to find out what happened.
