How sad that a once great public education system can’t provide the special needs that our most needy students deserve. This state’s public education system has been driven into the ground by successive governments. I wonder just what is behind it all? Why should it take years and years and lobbying and parental outcry to provide what should be there in the first instance. Shame political parties, shame.
