MORE FUNDS FOR COFFS FLOOD CLEAN-UP

The latest instalment of Coffs Harbour’s flood relief funding has trickled down from the state government.

More than $170,000 has been paid to repair damage caused during the February floods of last year.

Council’s also been granted a further $150,000 to cover the restoration of recreation facilities and play equipment.

The additional funds won’t be available until that work is completed.

Nambucca Shire Council has also received a flood relief payment, a sum of $17,000, for the damage it sustained during the February event.
