A constant stream of clear drinking water is a step closer for the people of the Woy Woy peninsula, with the commonwealth confirming it will invest $4.5-million in Gosford Council’s water quality project.
The funding will go towards capital works.
It includes an upgrade of the Woy Woy water treatment plant, to reduce water discolouration in the area it serves.
The peninsula has experienced severe water quality issues in recent years.
