Five new telecommunications base stations will be delivered to the New England region, through a partnership between the State and Federal Governments.
Under the Mobile Black Spot Program, Telstra towers will be located on either side of Guyra at Baldersleigh and Aberfoyle.
There’ll be another at Pinkett, east of Glen Innes, while Wongwibinda has been ear-marked for Vodafone.
36 new phone towers have been built in the electorate since 2013.
