The Salvation Army’s Tamworth branch has been busy preparing hampers for those less fortunate during the Christmas period.
More than 150 people have registered to receive toys for both boys and girls, as well as adults.
Food and clothing will also be bundled together.
“We do this every year because it just touches the community so much. It’s not just for those who need the gifts, it’s also good for those who are giving, so it’s a really nice time of year.”
The items will be distributed to families on Friday.
