The parents of a newborn baby, mistakenly injected with adult flu vaccine at John Hunter Hospital, say they’ll pursue legal action against Hunter New England Health.
The service today refused to release the findings of an investigation into the incident, but has apparently told the parents that the staff involved will not be stood down.
The hospital has admitted the mistake could have been fatal, and ordered a review of procedures.
