A 17-year high school student is being praised for his actions, after lending first aid to an elderly woman on Monday morning after her car hit a tree at Tiona, near Pacific Palms.
Brendan Lewis, a student at Great Lakes College, was driving to a trial HSC exam at around 10-o’clock when he saw the 75-year-old woman’s car leave the road.
The volunteer firefighter quickly rang emergency services, and provided assistance.
Thankfully the woman wasn’t seriously injured in the crash.
