Police are appealing for public assistance to identify a man whose body was found on Town Beach on Monday morning.
A passerby made the discovery at around six o’clock.
There have been no reports of anyone missing and police are asking anyone with information to come forward.
The man is described as being of Caucasian appearance and aged in his 60’s or 70’s.
