Two people have been injured in a car crash near Glen Innes – one of them a heavily pregnant woman.
Emergency services were called to the Gwydir Highway, about 20 kilometres west of the town, just before 3 o’clock this morning.
The 25-year-old man behind the wheel was taken to hospital, along with a 25-year-old female passenger – who’s 34 weeks pregnant.
Their injuries are, thankfully, non life-threatening.
Another man in the back of the car was unhurt.
