Police have charged a 22-year-old Macksville man with a string of offences including intimidation, and resisting arrest after an incident in Taree this afternoon.
Police were called at about 1 o’clock following reports of a man acting aggressively while armed with a large knife.
Police arrested the 22-year-old in Albert Street after a short chase.
He will appear in Taree Local Court later this month.
