Hunter triathlete Aaron Royle believes he can now mix it with the sport’s best after a solid effort at the World Series grand final in Chicago.
The 25 year old was second out of the swim and joined the lead group on the bike.
He surged at the 8k mark in the run, before dropping back to finish seventh.
Royle will finish off this year with races in Australia.
