Four Port Macquarie futsal players have departed for the United States, to represent Australia in the Pacific Cup.
Shannon Day, Imogene Tomasone, Sophie Jones and Britt Hargreaves will make up part of the team, taking on six other countries in the tournament, starting Thursday.
The local girls are in top form, after winning last weekend’s Stonestreets Cup in Queensland.
There’s high hopes for the Australian Women’s Team – it narrowly lost to the USA in the 2014 grand final.
