Plans have been lodged to redevelop a site next to the Imperial Shopping Centre.
The $17 million plan will see the existing tavern and car park demolished, with a 15 story tower built in its place.
The development will house 75 residential units, with a new tavern proposed for the ground level.
It comes after council received a development application worth $180 million to revamp the controversial Spurbest site earlier this month.
The plans for the new development will be on display at Council Chambers until March 6.
