STATE HOCKEY CARNIVAL ATTRACTS HUNDREDS

Taree has been overrun with hundreds of young hockey players battling it out as part of the New South Wales Under 13’s state titles.
The competition has attracted 29 teams from as far as Sydney and Tamworth.
The event, designed to promote growth in the junior divisions.
“This is really important for developing grass roots hockey it’s about getting the younger age groups involved in hockey, enjoying their hockey and coming away and having an experience, Greg Doolan from Hockey NSW said.
