The Member for Wallsend is calling for a review of Newcastle Buses, arguing a lack of public transport to the University of Newcastle’s Callaghan Campus is putting added pressure on its parking.
Sonia Hornery says untimely and inefficient buses are contributing to the problem.
Transport for New South Wales says it’s moving to a new, privately-operated model, which will make public transport more attractive and convenient.
