Australia Day 20-18 has proven memorable for seven Mid North Coast residents, recognised with Australia Day honours.
Professor Noeline Kyle from Lake Cathie was made a member of the Order of Australia, while Professor Michael Barber from Port Macquarie can now add AM to his name
Five people from the region were given OAMs, including Geoff King from Coffs Harbour, Bob Denner from Dorrigo, Maurice Fuller from Kempsey, and Helen Guthrie and Gregory Laird form Port Macquarie.
