Police are hunting for two men who held up a bottle shop at Morpeth last night.
Just before eight o’clock, one of the men threatened staff at Cellarbrations in Swan Street with a knife, while the other blocked the doorway.
The offenders then fled with the shop’s cash trays, leaving in a light coloured four-wheel-drive with a broken right brake light.
It was last seen driving along Green Street.
