ADDITIONAL WILD DOG MANAGEMENT FUNDS

Wild dog management groups on the Northern Tablelands have received more federal government funding to help tackle the problem.
29 associations across the region will share in an extra $255,000 over three years.
The funding will go towards baiting programs and tailoring management plans to each landholder’s circumstances.
In Australia each year, farmers spend about 26 days and $7,200 on the issue.
