A Thornton man will face court over a number of alleged child approaches near Lake Macquarie.
Police allege that between August and November this year, a man approached six girls, aged between 13 and 16 years, and committed an indecent act towards them.
The alleged incidents all took place around Cardiff and Edgeworth.
A 46-year-old man has now been charged with eight counts of committing an act of indecency towards another person.
