Gosford Council last night voted to support a community campaign, calling on the implementation of no go zones on the Central Coast.
The decision follows calls by a Mangrove Mountain community group to rule out coal and coal seam gas mining around the region’s water catchments and agricultural land.
Wyong Council will officiate its stand during a meeting tonight.
