Gosford Mayor Lawrie McKinna has secured another 12 months in the role.
Council’s vote was initially tied with councillor Chris Burke, with a random ballot later deciding the successor.
It’s the third mayoral term Mr McKinna has served with Gosford Council.
Ex-mayor Jim Macfadyen was elected as deputy mayor.
