The Newcastle Jets are officially on the hunt for another midfielder, with confirmation the club has agreed to transfer Josh Brillante to Italian Club Fiorentina, subject to a medical.
Brillante travels to Italy this weekend to finalise his move.
The Jets reigning player of the year was recently involved in the Socceroos pre-World Cup camp.
He’s the second high profile departure from Newcastle this off season, following Adam Taggart’s move to Fulham.
