Police are hoping to speak with the driver of a silver hatchback, after a man’s body was discovered on the side of a Hunter Valley road.
Emergency services were called to Carrington Street just south of Singleton at around 5:30 this morning, with initial inquiries suggesting the man was hit by a car sometime after 4 o’clock.
Officers have been told a silver hatchback pulled up alongside the body just before emergency services arrived, checking on the man before driving away.
