Big news for Jets fans with popular striker Ryan Griffiths re-signing with the club for a further two seasons late this afternoon.
The 30-year-old had fielded offers from several overseas clubs, but was always keen to stay with Newcastle.
Griffiths is the Jets’ second top-scorer this season, and has acted as captain in the absence of Jobe Wheelhouse.
