The coastal town of Evans Head is getting a facelift.
Richmond Valley Council plans to revamp the shopping district in the new year.
More public seating, garbage bins and the plantation of mature trees are just some of the works on the agenda.
Council has allocated more than $350,000 for the first stage of work.
It’s hoped the make-over will improve the aesthetics of the town centre for locals and tourists.
