The Northern Rivers no longer has any pubs or clubs on the state’s violent venue’s list with Mary Gilhooley’s Irish Pub in Lismore and Byron’s Cheeky Monkeys Bar and Restaurant recording a 47 and 40 per cent drop respectively in violent incidences.
Their removal means the venues are no longer required to use plastic cups after midnight or stop serving alcohol 30 minutes before closing.
