Casino’s Cultural and Community Centre was officially opened today by the Federal Minister for Regional Australia, Simon Crean.
The $3.6-million project will give the community a modern space to provide a number of essential services.
“There’s home and community care, there’s vulnerable youth, there’s just a huge range of services covering our community and welfare and health life.”
More than ten community groups have already expressed interest in using the centre.
