Copacabana surfer Rebecca Woods has been knocked out of the US Open of Surfing after making it to the quarter finals.
The world number 14 competed against fellow Aussie Sally Fitzgibbons in yesterday’s round.
After a slow start, Woods delivered her best performance in the final two waves, scoring 4.5 and 3.86 respectively.
But it wasn’t enough to get the 26-year-old into the semi finals, missing out by just over two points.
