Local business men and women have braved the wet weather at the Lismore golf club, all in the name of a good cause.
Rival banks set aside their competitiveness to raise funds for the Our Kids foundation.
“A couple of my mates work at Bank West, I’m at the Bank of Queensland. We got together to organise it last year and raised $10,000 and we have done the same again today.”
The funds will help buy much-needed medical equipment, including a resuscitation trolley.
“We all have jobs to do, all got organisations to work for, but when it comes to working for the community we all want to pitch in and help.”
