Tributes have flowed for a firefighter from the mid north coast… killed by a falling tree while battling a blaze near Walgett, west of Narrabri.
75-year-old Leo Fransen, a captain at the Diamond Beach brigade, was today remembered as a committed member of the Rural Fire Service.
