Tamworth has hosted its own Catholic pilgrims, with more than 100 Italians stopping over in the country music capital.
Two coach loads from Brisbane spent today taking in the sights of Tamworth, en route to Sydney.
They held their own celebration, waving flags of their home countries and spreading the message of faith through song.
The pilgrims attended a special mass at Tamworth’s St Nicolas’s church this afternoon and will leave for World Youth Day celebrations tomorrow.
