A Carinya Christian School student has won a coveted regional award for his HSC design and technology project.
Tamworth’s Daniel Brown today took out the University of New South Wales Design Tech award for his compost tea brewer, which pumps air through compost to create an organic fertiliser for crops.
He said the idea came about through my dad whose a biological farmer and we wanted to improve the system we have at home.
Daniel’s work is one of a number of projects being shown at the Tamworth DesignTECH exhibition at Ray Walsh House until the end of the month.
