Tamworth’s Parking metres have been caught napping, since the end of daylight saving, 13 days ago.
A technical glitch prevented 44 parking metres from turning back their clocks to the correct eastern standard time.
While most people have enjoyed the additional hour of free parking in the CBD, Council say the free time is almost over.
The metres will be repaired over the weekend and will be ticking in time with the rest of the state from Monday.
