A controversial Big W development continues to dog Moree Council, which has received a summons to face the Land and Environment Court.
The Moree Mayor says it came from two members of Moree’s Murri Taskforce, Lyall Munro and Waye Nean.
The multi-million dollar development has already been approved by the council, and will see a Big W built at Taylor Oval.
The taskforce has long opposed the redevelopment of the oval, which it argues is an aboriginal site.
