The Pacific Motorway at Chinderah was closed for several hours early this morning after a B-double fuel tanker collided with a car.
Emergency services were called around 1:30am to reports a person was trapped inside the car, but thankfully they managed to free themselves before crews arrived.
Three people sustained minor injuries, with one taken to The Tweed Hospital for further treatment.
