Mining supply vessel ‘The Sonja’ set out on its final voyage from the Port of Newcastle last night.
The 100 metre cargo ship is one of only two vessels to call the port home.
Sonja has made 100 trips from Newcastle to Indonesia in the last six years, loaded with steel and mining products.
